Welcome to the LVTA Shop. On display here is a selection of the items that you can order on line.

Please note: some of these items are for sale to LVTA members ONLY and are marked so.

The procedure is simple - just decide what you would like, tick the appropriate checkboxes and click on Proceed to Order Form and you will be taken to a page where you can fill in your details before sending the order to our regalia officer, Sybil Strugnell.

When she has received you order, Sybil will email you the price including p + p. When you receive Sybil’s email, just post a cheque for the amount, accompanied by a short note to identify who it is from and your goods will be mailed to you.

Please note this is an order-only facility: we are unable to offer a pay-on-line service. Nor are we able to offer this facility to US members, who are asked to buy direct from US secretary John Freeston. His details are provided at the foot of this page and also in the US Notes.

You may still order by telephone or by post if you wish, just call Sybil or James on 01189 787308 or write to either. The address is always listed in the magazine.

They have no commercial value as a taxi licence.
They DO NOT licence a cab in any way at all for public hire, (i. e. taxi work) either in London or anywhere else in the world
They DO NOT exempt the vehicle from the Central London Congestion Charge
They DO NOT allow access to any privileges given by law to licensed cabs, (e. g. use of dedicated parking meters or railway station or airport roads)
They DO NOT permit the parking of the vehicle on a taxi rank
They DO NOT exempt the vehicle from bus lane restrictions
If you own and display an obsolete type of licence plate on your retired cab, we strongly advise you to abide by the law and in doing so ensure you avoid substantial financial penalties and in the process avoid bringing the LVTA into disrepute or harming our relationship with the PCO.
